Introducing The New Season Collection With Katie Loxton
We caught up with Joma Jewellery’s Creative Director and Co-Owner, Katie Loxton, to find out what her inspiration was for the new season collection, what styles she’s wrist stacking, and what pieces she’s gifting to her nearest and dearest!
What was the inspiration behind the Autumn Winter 2022 Collection?
This season, celebration is definitely the inspiration - think sparkly styles to celebrate party season and my favourite time of year, Christmas! When designing we really took a deep dive into the sentiments our customers know and love, and wanted to design everything to have that little bit more meaning. You’ll notice we’ve put more focus on wellbeing and that sense of self, which has been threaded through the collection with the use of semi-precious stones and powerful mantras. As always, our stunning silver-plated styles take centre stage, while updated more premium packaging oozes luxury!

Do you have a favourite design?
I adore the Affirmation Crystal A Littles! They’re something really new for us and takes us right back to our roots where we saw semi-precious gemstones while traveling all those years ago, before Joma Jewellery was born! They all encompass empower sentiments that will (hopefully!) uplift the mood of whoever is lucky enough to be wearing one. The artwork on the cards is super special too, I feel like this collection has a whole has a really amazing boho vibe.
What new season style do you think will be a bestseller?
Bar our iconic A Littles that our customers love, I think the brand-new Celebration Sets will be a customer-favourite this season! Completely unique, these trio of silver-plated bracelets are housed in a gorgeous display box, so they’re all boxed and ready to gift, whatever the occasion. Plus, who doesn’t want a gift that gives them an Instant wrist stack?!
If you could gift one piece from the new collection to your friends and family for Christmas, which would it be?
Definitely something from our Spirit Stones range. Not only are they completely unique, they’re also completely wearable from day-to-day. The beautiful intricate design details give the whole collection an organic look and feel, especially with the feature of semi-precious gemstones. Plus, we made sure these styles were set at a really great pricepoint, so they make for a good value gift to someone special or to yourself!
The Christmas Collection drops soon - can you tell us a bit about the collection?
Ah, I am so excited for you all to see the Christmas Collection this year! When designing, I always start with the colour palette, and for 2022 we’ve gone with a rich holiday red, pink & gold - I really wanted to take a more pretty and feminine approach to Christmas. Our fun and festive Christmas Crackers have been expanded - we’ve even added Children’s versions which are super cute. There’s even a gorgeous metallic star-fall design that features across all of the Christmas packaging, which just adds the sweetest touch to that Christmas morning gifting moment. Another thing we’re putting a spotlight on is personalised - we have some exciting new launches happening around Christmas, so keep your eye peeled!
