Brand Marketing Manager

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

The Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing initiatives that drive awareness of Joma Jewellery & Katie Loxton and their products globally.

They manage three direct reports – Brand Marketing Coordinator, Wholesale Marketing Assistant and Brand Copywriter, and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on meeting multi-channel marketing objectives. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the marketing strategy, focussing on offline B2C brand marketing and B2B marketing activity.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With direction and support from the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for managing B2C and B2B marketing initiatives from conception to delivery, delivering against the overall marketing strategy
  • Delivery of season launches, marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring a consistent message across all brand touchpoints, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Creating and driving the seasonal brand marketing calendar, with support from the Brand Marketing Coordinator, ensuring that dates are aligned with launches, tradeshows and other business events
  • Ensuring that all marketing activity is in line with the approved budgets set out by the Managing Director and Head of Marketing, and monitoring B2C offline and B2B marketing spend
  • Monitoring and analysing marketing activity and reporting progress and ROI to the Head of Marketing / Managing Director
  • Responsible for delivering B2B marketing initiatives, including; seasonal B2B marketing campaigns, delivering inspiring content for B2B websites and emails, promoting shows and driving tradeshow attendance, and maximising promotions
  • Managing the B2C and B2B content plans, guiding the marketing team in delivering all creative marketing assets, from initial ideas and concept creation, to delivery across all brand marketing touchpoints
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Ecommerce Manager and Wholesale Manager to ensure marketing content is relevant for all digital channels and wholesale communications
  • Collaborating with the Design Team Manager on marketing requirements, overseeing marketing design briefs, providing feedback on changes, and approving assets for use, sharing with the Head of Marketing for sign off as required
  • Managing brand partnerships, including charity and sustainability initiatives, creating roadmaps for each project, and communicating with the wider business
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the PR agency, ensuring that the brand is represented in the best way possible, and that agency KPIs are met
  • Support the business’ overall sustainability plans and create appropriate marketing content to promote our positive brand message
  • Ensuring the brand story for Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery evolves and continually improve how this is portrayed across brand websites and through external brand exposure opportunities 
  • Continually look for new marketing opportunities, ensuring that all marketing activity delivers commercial results and supports the global brand vision

Senior Digital Designer

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

We are looking for an experienced digital designer who will manage all digital creative outputs for our website, working alongside the B2B and B2C Ecommerce Managers as well as marketing and content teams. Reporting to the Creative Manager, you will be responsible for the digital identity of the brand across the UK, EU and USA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Liaise with senior managers across the business to ensure projects are comprehensively briefed and then manage from concept through to delivery, ensuring projects are on time and on budget

- Develop creative campaigns to engage our audience and consistent meticulous graphic design across all digital channels

- Be a digital superstar, understanding the latest software and technology to bring new, engaging ideas to the brand

- Follow direction from the Creative Director and Creative Manager to translate seasonal changes online

- Support the Creative Manager on managing the digital workflow and prioritising of briefs across the team, suggestion ways to improve efficiencies

- Liaise with the ECom and Marketing teams to review and analyse campaigns then feedback to the team on what can be improved in future

- Working alongside the online visual merchandiser to ensure updates are made in a timely manner

- Liaise with the retouching team to ensure all product images

- Maintain comprehensible digital asset library of graphic artwork

- Demonstrate excellent understanding of digital production specifications

- Manage and support a team of digital designers, including career development and support, absence management

- Supporting the Creative Manager with ad-hoc tasks

PERSONAL PROFILE:

- Excellent digital designer experience with a focus on “mobile first”

- Ideally, experience gained within a retail environment, preferably fashion, jewellery or accessories

- A proven track record of managing processes and people to effectively deliver a best in class online experience

- Excellent awareness of digital design across all channels

- Advanced graphic software skills – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is essential. Specialist additional digital graphic software skills are desirable

- Excellent market awareness and understanding/knowledge of accessories product and trends

- Experience working on a national and international level

- A self-starter, able to work autonomously and within teams

- Natural leader with the ability to take ownership of the role with confidence and enthusiasm

- Strong portfolio clearly demonstrating an ability to approach different projects from the brands perspective keeping within their core values and design

- Strong brand awareness

Junior Digital Designer

We are searching for a Junior Digital Designer with a passion for their field to join our growing team at Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery. You would be joining us in this exciting role to create digital artwork for use across all digital platforms including our websites, social media handles, email marketing and advertising.

With a bright and enthusiastic team around us already, we are looking for the perfect addition that has a fast-paced nature who is able to work towards deadlines and within budget.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide consistent meticulous graphic illustration + presentation artwork to the design team

• Creating clear typography graphics and messages for use online, as part of our brand development.

• Create key seasonal and branding graphics for use on the web, email and social

• Maintain comprehensible digital asset library of graphic artwork

• Follow seasonal department calendars and be accountable for delivering to critical path

• Demonstrate a good understanding of artwork and digital production specifications

• Taking projects from concept to completion

• Assist the wider graphic design team when needed, e.g. creating product and lifestyle imagery for use in brochures, web campaigns and social media. Ensuring work is delivered on time and to specification.

Midweigth Graphic Designer

We are looking for a driven & passionate Midweight Graphic Designer to become an important addition to Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery. In this role the Midweight Graphic Designer will work as part of an enthusiastic and hard-working team to deliver graphics for use in brochures, online, shop POS, advertising and PR.

We are searching for someone who is passionate about graphics and capable of delivering to schedule, specification and budget. The perfect candidate for this role will show great ability to approach our projects from the brands perspective.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide consistent meticulous graphic illustration + presentation artwork to design team with the main focus on artwork for use digitally, across our websites and social media as well as in-store graphics.

· Work with designers from initial concept and content generation through to a finished product

· Creating clear typography graphics and messages for use online, in-store and on merchandise as part of our brand development

· Create key seasonal and branding graphics for use in brochures, web, and point of sale in-store displays.

· Create key imagery for the marketing team to use across multiple platforms

· Be responsible for image editing, retouching and graphic layouts from concept to delivery

· Work with design teams to collate all imagery and product information for selling tools

· Provide digital catalogue with clear and accurate product visuals

· Maintain a comprehensible digital asset library of graphic artwork

· Follow seasonal department calendars and be accountable for delivering on the critical path

· An excellent understanding of artwork, print, production and finishing processes
