eCommerce Merchandiser

As part of the eCommerce team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring a best in class user experience across all Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery retail and wholesale websites.

Frontend focused but highly competent using a website content management systems, you will be passionate about promoting our products with love, care and attention to detail. You will work with our Marketing and Design teams to merchandise new and existing products and categories.

You will need to understand and utilise insight from analytical tools to deliver effortless customer journeys, identify bestsellers, underperforming and high stock lines and provide a VM approach that maximises sales. Identify refinements that can be made to PLP and PDP pages, on-site search, navigation, categorisation and filtering to optimise user experience will be key in the success of this role.

You will be the point of contact for all front end enquiries, liaising with other departments to deliver an online proposition that fully supports the brand and helps us to achieve ambitious business goals.

Both creative and analytical in equal measure you will have a strong eye for design and detail. Able to deal with multiple tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy. Computer literate with excellent Excel skills. You will be commercially aware with strong business acumen.

You will be Degree educated and/or have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a visual merchandising retail eCommerce role, experience in the jewellery or fashion sector would be advantageous.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring products are merchandised to an exceptional standard, with on brand photography and copy communicating key and relevant sales messages to consumers.
  • Ensuring all product taxonomy, categorisation and meta-data is present and correct and that products are on-boarded and removed in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and improving conversion, AOVs and retention.
  • Mapping user journeys through each website to improve the customer experience.
  • QA testing website updates across multiple operating systems and devices.
  • Collaborating with Marketing & Design on site-wide updates.

Image Retoucher

An opportunity to join our rapidly growing Design Team as an Image Retoucher has arisen. In this position you will work directly with our Photographer and Creative Brand Manager to deliver product and lifestyle images on time for our Joma Jewellery brand.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide consistent meticulous retouching of product, model and lifestyle images – ability to colour correct, crop, cut-out
  • Bringing innovation and best practice to the team and constantly generating new ideas
  • Time management, feeding back any problematic images to ensure delivery dates are met
  • Work collaboratively with the design and content team to ensure that all design activities align to their project road-map and deliverables
  • Crop images and maintain file size specification guidelines
  • Manage database of images, ensuring it is kept up to date and clearly labelled at all times

Purchasing & Stock Analyst

Due to expansion we are looking for a Purchasing and Stock Analyst to join our vibrant head office team in Banbury.

In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for forecasting stock requirements across both our brands, using all available data, product and business knowledge in order to purchase accordingly.

We are looking for someone who loves the data side of this highly analytical position and is also a confident communicator and negotiator.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecasting sales for owned ranges or product to enable purchasing decisions
  • Analysis of stock levels and sales to ensure stock is purchased to keep a good level of availability while not overstocking
  • Maintain regular frequency of reviewing stock levels and the need to purchase

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Designing to brief using anticipation of trends and understanding of brand heritage.

  • Design qualification preferably product 3D or graphic design with a passion and enthusiasm related to fashion and lifestyle products.
  • Strong visual communication skills as well as excellent AI and Photoshop proficiency and hand drawing. CAD experience preferable.
  • Ability to demonstrate an exceptional level of accuracy in both written correspondence and numeracy.
  • Thorough attention to detail and proofing ability, with proven accuracy delivering packaging in multiple languages, uk, eu and international warning symbols.

Wholesale Marketing Assistant

Our vision is to create a leading worldwide gifting and lifestyle brand, and we’re looking for a dedicated Wholesale Marketing Assistant to join our ambitious, growing marketing team to support in delivering the wholesale marketing strategy for Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery.

The successful candidate will coordinate seasonal B2B marketing activity for the UK, Europe and USA markets, and support the day-to-day running of wholesale marketing activities.

The Wholesale Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Wholesale and Ecommerce teams. 

CANDIDATE CHARACTER

We’re looking for a highly motivated candidate, who is organised and passionate about our brands, with experience in B2B marketing.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, an excellent communicator and adept at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced retail environment. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the B2B marketing calendars for Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery, for all territories, working closely with the Wholesale team, Events Manager and our Sales Agents to ensure dates and activity are aligned.
  • Delivery of B2B season launches, B2B marketing campaigns and B2B promotions, including creating wholesale launch packs and sharing new season assets, working closely with the sales teams.
  • Collaborate with the Wholesale and Ecommerce teams to deliver seasonal marketing updates to the Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery B2B websites, and ensure that all wholesale marketing opportunities are maximised within the platform.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure B2B marketing assets, including website updates, emails and show invites, are on brand and in line with the overall brand marketing plan and seasonal creative concepts.
  • Brief B2B asset creation into the Design team, included but not limited to B2B website updates, emails, wholesale season launch packs, show invites and printed materials, as well as supporting with ad hoc stockist requests.
  • Align with the Social Media Coordinator on wholesale social asset requirements, particularly for the UK franchise concept stores.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to roll out marketing campaigns to B2B customers, for example Black Friday initiatives and Mother’s Day promotions.
  • Oversee trade press, including editorial opportunities and seasonal brand advertising, across all territories.
  • Drive brand consistency across the wholesale business to ensure stockists are adhering to brand guidelines and representing the brand in line with the business’ overall goals.
  • Continually look for new opportunities to support the wholesale business and improve existing accounts through new marketing initiatives, ensuring that all wholesale marketing activities deliver commercial results and support the global brand vision.

Visual Merchandiser

As the Visual Merchandiser for Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton, you will deliver creative and commercial displays for both brands across all areas of the business from showroom collection launches, pop up events, franchise stores, window schemes, photography styling and PR events.

We are looking for an innovative and highly creative team member with proven experience of delivering inspiring, commercial and creative displays. You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for delivering creative solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visually merchandising our head office showroom to showcase our new collections for spring/summer and autumn/winter launches. Working closely with the Creative Director and lead designers to effectively communicate key brand stories and campaigns
  • Rolling out our seasonal showroom schemes across other showrooms worldwide, across all UK showrooms and Atlanta and LAS Vegas, USA
  • Implementation of window schemes, with thorough follow up and training of store staff to constantly improve our windows
  • Assisting PR events with visual displays and exciting and engaging displays.
  • Conducting commercial analysis of showroom performance, offering VM solutions to support sales mix, space mix and Key KPI’s
  • Demonstrate the use of Category performance, bestsellers and concept report to utilise this information in order to commercially support VM decisions and measure the success of floor moves, layout and space changes
  • Conducting walkthroughs with the Creative Director, Events teams, head of sales and Store Management team, providing VM suggestions and ensuring the management teams are aware of VM direction
  • Ensuring that direction from senior visits is actioned and followed up appropriately
  • Ensuring that daily updates and weekly actions are completed in a timely manner, providing best in class photos and commentary to all teams where needed

Product and Lifestyle Photographer

You will work directly with our Creative Director and Design Team Manager in our in-house photography studio to deliver commercial product photography across Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton. You will be responsible for ensuring all photography accurately reflects products and is photographed, edited and delivered on schedule. We are looking for a highly creative and talented photographer who can take our imagery to the next level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide 360-degree photography of all products for Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery
  • Produce high quality, commercial images ensuring that they are exposed correctly and colour consistent
  • Editing of all photography to remove backgrounds, change colours and manipulate layers and retouching
  • Optimisation of images ready to upload to CMS
  • Providing high quality photography from model shoots both in the studio and on location
  • Creation of flatlays and lifestyle images, for use in brochures, web campaigns and social media
  • Ability to style and dress products on POS in a commercial manner

You manage the delivery of all events through excellent communication, collaboration and influence, with your objective being to Lead the creative development and vision for key seasonal launches and event identities. In this role you will report to the Creative Director and work closely with the Directors, Creative manager and events manager.

Tradeshows

Develop and deliver branding identity across all tradeshows, from our UK head office showroom, to UK, EU and US regional showrooms. Ensuring a consistent, engaging and exciting concept is rolled out on time and budget.

  • Work closely with creative director and lead designers to understand key seasonal campaigns, product launches and vision for each collection,
  • Lead on development of creative concepts, via artwork, video, props and experience to deliver outstanding, creatively engaging and exciting events.
  • Ensure delivery of all assets required for all events
  • Planning end-to-end activity, coordinating teams and ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Thorough understanding of budget and CP’s
  • Excellent sourcing of props and visual assets
  • Proactively manage to schedule to meet to deadlines
  • Develop floor plans to ensure customer experience journey is maximised and visuals are delivered effectively
  • Understand research on current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features
  • Carrying out wash-ups to measure how successful each event was and how we can improve going forward
  • Attend shows where required to ensure delivery of projects
  • Ensure team members where shows are unattended by yourself are given clear project packs to show clear set up instructions
  • Ensure our visual merchandisers and events teams fully understand creative concept for all seasonal launches.
  • Working closely with the events manager who will manage the logistics, set up, running and break down of events.

 

Franchises and Shop in Shops

Responsible for leading the creative development for all franchise store openings. Working closely with Creative manager to develop in store experience and execution of brand identity in new and existing retail stores. Work to develop outstanding window displays and in store customer experience

  • Lead the creative to develop the franchise store model.
  • Develop exciting in store events designed to excite and engage our customers and deliver our sales strategy
  • Develop any in store or popup store merchandise, ensuring this is done on brand and within guidelines
  • Work with creative manager to Develop store window concepts to tie in with seasonal campaigns, launches and in store events

 

Pop up and PR events

  • Work closely with the creative director to create unique, outstanding concepts for pop up events and PR events
  • Work closely with marketing team to understand objectives for PR events
  • Co-ordinate all teams to deliver engaging, unique and conceptual launches

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • 3+ years lead creative responsibility for delivering events
  • Outstanding creative and conceptual thinking, ability to think outside the box and understanding of customer experience.
  • Able to travel for work and work outside of 9am-5pm when required (to oversee shows)
  • Excellent organisation, initiative & time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An exceptional standard of visual merchandising
  • Ability to confidently take ownership of projects, overseeing all details and managing a list of requirements through to completion.
  • Confident communicator, able to inspire and lead key managers to understand and deliver creative vision.
  • Strong experience with being able to deliver creative ideas to budget.
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal teams and customers
  • Naturally proactive and confident ability to chase when necessary to get the job done
  • Solution finder, meticulous attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook, creative suite
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate to a wide range of internal and external contacts
  • Previous face to face customer service experience
  • Hold a valid passport at all times and a clean driving license
  • Ability to speak additional languages would be advantageous

Creative Manager

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

As Creative Manager you will be leading the creative to define, develop and deliver all company-wide artwork and imagery. This role will require close collaboration with the Creative Director to ensure the product vision is reflected across all visual elements of the brand and develop key seasonal campaigns. You will be responsible for managing the graphic design, artwork and photography teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director, Marketing Manager and Lead Designer (Product) to ensure company vision is bought to life across all touchpoints;
  • High level strategic thinker who can creatively look ahead to deliver key brand campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Digital design – Lead the creative development to deliver campaign graphics and imagery for all B2c and B2B websites, social media, email and advertising. Manage the digital design team to deliver all assets on schedule.
  • Manage the photography team including team of retouchers and photographers to ensure delivery of all new season product imagery, managing critical path.
  • Manage team of graphic designers and artworkers to deliver all wholesale assets, brochures, imagery and advertising
  • Responsible for delivering printed material– marketing collateral across all stores, window graphics and campaigns and events
  • Work closely with the Lead Designers (Product) to understand the vision of seasonal products and use this to inform the creative styling of photography and marketing materials including imagery and messaging
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver campaigns in line with the marketing strategy
  • Art direction of seasonal lifestyle and PR shoots, working closely with product team and photographer
  • Manage brand standards, positioning, messaging, approving materials including localised requests
  • Develop and maintain communication processes with the design team, enabling speed, creativity and agility
  • Ensure that the creative vision meets deadlines and budgets
  • Responsible for managing Critical paths working closely with design team manager to ensure team scheduling is accurate and capacity is met and managed.
  • This role will work across wholesale and retail audiences

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience as a creative lead (in-house or agency)
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining strong graphic campaigns and imagery within the retail sector across UK, Europe and the USA
  • Significant experience working on web design, digital marketing and print projects
  • Ability to balance leading the creative vision as well as being a hands-on designer
  • Collaborative approach
  • Highly creative - a conceptual thinker with strong design deliverability
  • Strong art direction abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail, communication in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent understanding of design software– Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is essential. Specialist additional graphics software skills are desirable
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
  • Related degree in fashion/graphics
  • Excellent communicator
