eCommerce Merchandiser

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

As part of the eCommerce team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring a best in class user experience across all Katie Loxton and Joma Jewellery retail and wholesale websites.

Frontend focused but highly competent using a website content management systems, you will be passionate about promoting our products with love, care and attention to detail. You will work with our Marketing and Design teams to merchandise new and existing products and categories.

You will need to understand and utilise insight from analytical tools to deliver effortless customer journeys, identify bestsellers, underperforming and high stock lines and provide a VM approach that maximises sales. Identify refinements that can be made to PLP and PDP pages, on-site search, navigation, categorisation and filtering to optimise user experience will be key in the success of this role.

You will be the point of contact for all front end enquiries, liaising with other departments to deliver an online proposition that fully supports the brand and helps us to achieve ambitious business goals.

Both creative and analytical in equal measure you will have a strong eye for design and detail. Able to deal with multiple tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy. Computer literate with excellent Excel skills. You will be commercially aware with strong business acumen.

You will be Degree educated and/or have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a visual merchandising retail eCommerce role, experience in the jewellery or fashion sector would be advantageous.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring products are merchandised to an exceptional standard, with on brand photography and copy communicating key and relevant sales messages to consumers.
  • Ensuring all product taxonomy, categorisation and meta-data is present and correct and that products are on-boarded and removed in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and improving conversion, AOVs and retention.
  • Mapping user journeys through each website to improve the customer experience.
  • QA testing website updates across multiple operating systems and devices.
  • Collaborating with Marketing & Design on site-wide updates.
  • Liaising with external developers.
  • Ensuring that stock levels and pricing is up-to-date at all times.
  • Supporting marketing activity and campaigns, including email.
  • Assisting with reporting and website analytics using tools such as GA, GTM, HotJar etc…
  • Supporting the E-Commerce Manager/Management with any ad-hoc tasks.
  • Communicating work and project priorities to line manager & directors.

Image Retoucher

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

An opportunity to join our rapidly growing Design Team as an Image Retoucher has arisen. In this position you will work directly with our Photographer and Creative Brand Manager to deliver product and lifestyle images on time for our Joma Jewellery brand.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide consistent meticulous retouching of product, model and lifestyle images – ability to colour correct, crop, cut-out
  • Bringing innovation and best practice to the team and constantly generating new ideas
  • Time management, feeding back any problematic images to ensure delivery dates are met
  • Work collaboratively with the design and content team to ensure that all design activities align to their project road-map and deliverables
  • Crop images and maintain file size specification guidelines
  • Manage database of images, ensuring it is kept up to date and clearly labelled at all times
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of our digital design assets
  • Carry out ad hoc duties within department when required

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience retouching product photography
  • Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio

Events Manager

Permanent / Full time / 9-5pm Mon-Fri / Banbury based

At Joma Jewellery, we're looking for an experienced Events Manager to own this fantastic opportunity at our Head Office.  In this exciting, fast-paced position you will be the person in charge of delivering all of our Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter events, around the world and our onsite showroom in Banbury.

To be successful in this role, you will have successfully organised similar events in the past in a fast paced environment. You'll also have developed an understanding of visual merchandising so that you can arrange our products beautifully as the finishing touch to each tradeshow before the doors open to customers!  We're looking for someone who takes a challenge in their stride, works efficiently and proactively and takes pride in delivering to a remarkable standard.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing the set up and running of trade shows and private shows across the UK , Europe and the US.

    • Organise and prepare for all shows within parameters, coordinating teams and ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
    • Proactively manage to schedule to meet and exceed deadlines
    • Research
    • Attend shows in person where required
    • Ensure team members where shows are unattended by yourself are given clear instruction and information as how to set up and run the show
    • Maintain our H&S standards in setup, during and pack down of shows.
    • Meet and greet accounts arriving at shows and record attendees
    • Visual merchandising
    • Assist with selling during shows and events where needed
    • Make suggestions for improvements

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • 2+ years lead responsibility for managing events
  • Able to travel for work and work outside of 9am-5pm when required (to oversee shows)
  • Excellent organisation, initiative & time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An exceptional standard of visual merchandising
  • Ability to confidently take ownership of projects, overseeing all details and managing a list of requirements through to completion
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal teams and customers
  • Naturally proactive and confident ability to chase when necessary to get the job done
  • Ability to correctly determine when to escalate decisions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and Outlook

Customer Experience Manager

At Joma Jewellery there’s a perfect opportunity for a Customer Experience Manager to join our Head Office in Banbury. We’ve created this brand new position due to continued expansion across our wholesale markets in the UK and EU.

In this role, you will lead our existing Customer Experience Wholesale team, covering multiple markets for both brands to create an exceptional experience for our customers. You will be driven to achieve departmental success, leading the team to effectively manage relationships with agents and stockists as an ambassador for the team.

You will proactively develop the department, with customer experience delivery and commercial awareness as your core drivers. You will work closely with other managers across the business to drive Company success while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work directly with our Design Team Manager, Digital Designer and Creative Director to deliver digital graphics on time and to budget. You will be responsible for delivering digital artwork for use across the website, social media, email and advertising.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide consistent meticulous graphic illustration + presentation artwork to the design team
  • Creating clear typography graphics and messages for use online, as part of our brand development.
  • Create key seasonal and branding graphics for use on the web, email and social
  • Maintain comprehensible digital asset library of graphic artwork
  • Follow seasonal department calendars and be accountable for delivering to critical path
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of artwork and digital production specifications
  • Taking projects from concept to completion
  • Assist the wider graphic design team when needed, e.g. creating product and lifestyle imagery for use in brochures, web campaigns and social media. Ensuring work is delivered on time and to specification.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Midweight Graphic Designer

An opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that retails products across Europe and the US. You will work directly with our Lead Designer, Design Team Manager and Creative Director to deliver graphics on time and to budget with our critical path. You will be responsible for delivering artwork for use in brochures, online, the point of sale, advertising and PR. You must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience and a design related degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide consistent meticulous graphic illustration and presentation artwork to the design team with a specific focus on POS, packaging, marketing, brochures, catalogues and printed materials.
  • In addition to designing in 2D, the applicant should have strong 3D skills to propose structural concepts, with the ability to create physical mock-ups
  • Develop designs from initial concept and content generation through to the finished product
  • Creating clear typography graphics and messages for use online, in-store and on merchandise as part of our brand development.
  • Create key seasonal and branding graphics for use in brochures, web, and point of sale in-store displays.
  • Create key imagery for a marketing team to use across multiple platforms
  • Be responsible for image editing, retouching and graphic layouts from concept to delivery
  • Work with design teams to collate all imagery + product information for selling tools
  • Provide digital catalogue with clear and accurate product visuals
  • Maintain comprehensible digital asset library of graphic artwork
