Head of E-commerce

The Head of E-commerce at Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton takes strategic ownership and accountability for our visual and digital strategy for both brands, ensuring the successful delivery of our online retail and wholesale businesses. They are responsible for leading the E-commerce and Digital Marketing team, collaborating with our Marketing Manager, Managing Director and Design Team to deliver campaigns on time, to target and to budget. They also liaise with and oversee external agencies.

The Head of Ecommerce reports directly to the Managing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full P&L responsibility for the online business analysing return on spend to develop effective growth strategies.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure the online business operates in synergy with other areas of the business, helping to maximise opportunities across all channels.
  • Managing web developers to deliver customer-centric sites that strive to ensure customers receive the best possible service and experience to complement the brands.
  • Establishing, analysing and reporting on KPI’s to identify and develop growth opportunities.

PERSONAL PROFILE:

  • A proven track record of delivering effective digital strategies and design solutions and proven to be Instrumental in vision and implementation of a company’s digital strategy.

German Speaking Customer Experience Specialist - EU

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will hold a starring role in creating an exceptional experience for Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton customers, as a member of our dynamic team.

Your mission will be to deliver outstanding service supporting the growth of our expanding European market by building a strong rapport with our agents and returning customers. You will mainly be working with a portfolio of English speaking agents however may occasionally need to help with our German speaking agents. You'll also enjoy an element of travel, meeting with our stockists and agents at tradeshows and events.

Videographer

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Videographer to join a fast growing retail company as the creative team continues to grow. You will work alongside a team of designers and report directly to the Lead Designer, Design Team Manager and Creative Director. You will be responsible for delivering photography and videography in the form of branded, short-form videos from concept to delivery. It’s envisaged the role will be split between photography and videography with 60% shooting and 40% ensuring all photography accurately reflects products and is photographed, edited and delivered on schedule. We are looking for a highly creative and talented photographer who can take our imagery to the next level.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Planning and presenting pre-production material from pitching concepts and ideas to delivery (campaigns, products and web content)
  • Working as the sole videographer, handling sound and video
  • Editing to a professional standard for use in-store, at events and on social media
  • Creating motion graphics, editing audio to a basic level
  • Shoot all e-commerce video product shots

Management Accountant

This is an exciting and developmental opportunity which will have an impact in both Finance and across a growing business, supporting the implementation of new processes and ways of working whilst ensuring strong financial control.

 

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant is integral in ensuring that the month end is delivered within the required timescales and to a high degree of accuracy. As well as this, the successful individual will have the opportunity to partner with budget holders throughout the business whilst supporting the Financial Controller on ad hoc projects.

 

The role will be suited to someone who has a passion to succeed, the drive to grow and develop within a fast paced company but also the ability to support and guide others within a Finance team to achieve common goals and ensure continuous improvement.

 

Main duties and responsibilities

 

  • Production of monthly Management Accounts for multiple legal entities
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and strong balance sheet control (accruals, prepayments, stock valuations)
  • Produce a detailed analysis and reconciliation of actual transactions against expected forecast
  • Generation of the Monthly Management accounts pack for review
  • Close partnering and liaison with business to ensure accurate forecasting and identification of risks and opportunities along with a clear understanding of any variances
  • Providing financial support to non-financial managers and ensuring that the forecast represents a realistic view of the expenses within each cost area
  • Become conversant with all tasks within the finance team, to provide support and training as required
  • Review of line level transactions ensuring that VAT treatment is correct
  • Support in producing Intrastat, EC Sales requirements
  • Review and identification of inter-company recharges
