Say hello to our New Season Collection! To celebrate, we caught up with Joma Jewellery’s Creative Director and Co-founder Katie Loxton to get the lowdown on the new collection!
When designing the new season collection, where did you get your inspiration from?
This season has been really exciting to work on – we’ve had a look at our overall aesthetic of the brand and developed it further. The core of our new collection is our A Littles (like every season!), they’re timeless and will always see us through from this season and into the next.
As always, sentiments sit at the heart of our brand, which we always use as a starting point when creating new ranges, like our Gold A Littles. Full of the sentiments our customers know and love, these gold-plated styles have a more contemporary feel to them which is really exciting. We’re also bringing in new shapes and profiles to our carded collections by way of our presentation cards, giving a new look and feel to every gifting moment.
Describe the AW23 Collection in three words
Memories, Moments, Meaning – these are the three words our brand stands for, always. But this collection particularly I would describe as thoughtful, kind and positive.
What new collection/product are you most excited about?
Definitely our new Stacks Of Style Collection! We had so much fun designing this one. New card, new concept – I love the concept of instant layered pieces that comes all ready to be worn – and the half-arc card really uplevels the product and brings something new to the season.
What pieces from the collection will you be gifting to your nearest and dearest?
When it comes to gifting, it’s always our A Littles. I adore the new Gold A Littles – there really is something for everyone and for every celebration. Plus the addition of a Photo Card where you can add a message and two of your own photos makes this A Little Collection the first collection I turn to whenever it comes to searching for the perfect gift.
Can you let us in on any exciting launches coming up?
We’ve renewed our Celebrate You Boxes! They’re a really important, premium piece in the new season collection, they’re a trio stack of bracelets that sit pretty on a luxe linen pillow that is presented in a box that has been reimagined for this season. They’re slightly more elevated and make for a special and unique gift.
What is your favourite style from the new season collection?
It’s really hard to say but there are a couple of new A Littles that have the sweetest charms on! To pull out a couple, A Little ‘Life Is Better With You By My Side’ Bracelet is a beautiful silver-plated bracelet that holds a gold-plated hammered charm which is just so impactful and so beautiful, and A Little ‘Live Spontaneous’ with a gorgeous pavé crystal charm with a tiny little cutout starburst in the middle which I think is also one of my faves!
